The Historical Bastogne, Belgique

When it comes to history the country of Belgium has a lot to tell about it. One of the historical place Belgium has to offer is in Bastogne, the town which is close to the boarder of Luxembourg. The best way to get to Bastogne is to drive by taking route E411/A4 in t.he direction of Namur-Arlon.
On my first step on this place i was so flattered by the beautiful image of the museum and the stunning view on the top of the Mardasson Memorial .

The place called The Mardasson Park which is in the form of a five-pointed American star was built in honour of the memory of the 76,890 American soldiers killed, wounded or missing in the Battle of the Bulge; It was designed by an architect named Georges Dedoyard.

Wood Of Peace
The 4,000 trees making up this wood were planted for the 50th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. They were dedicated to the American veterans who fought in the Ardennes, Belgian combatants and all the civilians and military who died in the winter of 1944-45.

Sherman Tank
The Sherman tank of the 11th US Armored Division "Thunderbolt" was completely renovated and is a major monument in Bastogne.

L'automne

It's automne in here!!! I just love to see how the environment change its color(leaves). It's getting colder and hate waking up in the morning ,take a shower ,search some warm clothes to wear outside and head for school..it's just too early:)

These photos were taken last sunday in Mennet here in Namur. Luckily ,on this day the sun shines brightly that makes the enivironment so beautiful but still cold.

South of France Vacation 2 ( visiting St. Tropez )

In going to St. Tropez, there are two options : either you take a boat or take your car. We decided to take a boat from Ste. Maxime because taking a car in going to st;tropez may take a lot of time due to heavy traffic ( a lot of tourist/visitors prefer to go there because of its popularity). We wait for a bout 30 minutes or more in the port because when we arrived in there one boat leave and we are too late to take it. We just manage ourselves to take a walk and take photos to avoid boredom.
After a few minutes we noticed that theres a lot of people in the port waiting for the boat to come so,we decided to go back there so we can have a place in the boat.
It was bright sunnyday and as we take the boat to St. Tropez, we passed by a lot of beautiful yacht wherein the people who take it enjoyed swimming and jetskiing in the deep blue sea of st.tropez.

It doesn't take long in going there ( i guess it will only take you 7 to 8 mins. ) . When i step on the beautiful breath taking lanD of St.Tropez , I was really amazed of what i see. A lot of beautiful yacht, ship ,etc. take first my attention! WOW!!! I never saw such beautiful yacht in my life ! A lot of people say that it is a place for VIP people and now i guess they are certainly right! Just by those yacht it's really magnifique! and expensive.

South of France Vacation 1 ( visiting Ste.Maxime )

It was an early summer here in Belgium and we don't have any plans going somewhere for summer vacation until a close friend of us Caty Léonard et Benoit Gillot invited us to join them in their vacation somewhere in South of France. I was really excited  going in there since it was my first ever vacation here in Europe . We just go there by car and it was quite long journey ( it was 13 hours drive from Namur ).We start here in our place 17h00 and we arrived there in the morning. I really enjoyed watching the beautiful sites we passd by but after some hours of sitting in the car i feel so uncomfortable and my back is a little bit painful. We decided to stop by where we can eat a little and have coffee/something to drink ( it was a restaurant and a little store where all of the travellers who take the fast road ,stop and eat in there ).
After i finished my coffee we decided to continue our journey since theres no a lot of things to do in there and it was night and cold as well. Sleeping in the car is very difficult but i manage to rest myself because i feel very tired. My other half just woke me up when we reached Lyon,France because he want to eat something in there. Since,i t was about 1 or 2 in the morning, there are only few restaurant that are open. We saw a 24hours pizza in there but i feel like not eating anything because i certainlt lost my appetite due to my pregnancy. My other half decided not eat too , so we continue on our trip and we agree we will just take our breakfast when we arrived in Vidauban,France where our friends stay.
We arrived there early in the morning and i am so amazed by the the grapes plantation! It was such a wow to me! ( because i love eating grapes and i love wine (-:  )

When we reached the place where we stay the first thing i do is sleep sleep and sleep. When i woke up we take a visit to some of our friends who are also having vacation in there and after that we headed to the restaurant and have a dinner.
In the morning me and my other half prepare ourself  to take a tour to some wonderful and popular places in Southern France.
First, we take a car and head to St. Maxime ,it was a nice place with white beach. A lot of tourists from diffrent countries crowded the little place.
It's beautiful to see how the people enjoyed sunbathing and swimming in the calm sea of southern france.

My first Rallye ( R-S Sombreffe Rallye )

One of my other half's favorite sport is Rallye. We talked all about it when i was still in my homeland and i was so curious how nice is it ( because he always say that its really nice sport ). When i arrived here in Belgium he has a rallye in the weekend , i go with him in the control technique to check then register his car on the rallye ( it's  a big rallye)  and after that we meet his co- pilot Kevin Fernandez and we checked the road ( the rallye is held in the city of Namur in Citadelle). When we finished checking the road we get to visit his brother Fabrice in Wépion where i meet the wife and the children of his brother. They are both nice to me. After the short visit we go to eat dinner outside and headed home since my other half has rallye early in the morning. When we arrived home , the wife of his brother call him and asked if we can go outside tomorrow ( just me and her) she wants to take me for a little tour around namur and do a little shopping. I was so happy and excited for it because i wanted to see the whole city.
Early in the morning ,we wake up early ,take a shower and have a quick breakfast. He leave home at 7am and i just stay and wait for Caroline Gravy (his sis in law's name ) to pick me up.I spend a beautiful day with her.

With that i didn't get to see the rallye but in the evening he just pick me up in his parents house and we headed to the place where the awarding of the winners held. My other half win first place in his category/class. I was impressed!!!
I THINK I WANT TO TRY IT BY MYSELF!

There was another rallye held in Sombreffe. He decided to have me as his co- pilot. So, we go get a medical certificate and secure a co-pilot license for rallye. I was a little bit exhausted when the day of the rallye came. First,we go to control technique ,check the car ,etc. After that we checked the road and have a note, we take a dinner and headed staright home.
At home,we look at the video of the road where the rallye takes place and study it.The job of the co-pilot in the rallye is to instruct the pilot (like how many meters is it before you take a turn, etc. ). It is quite difficult for me because it is my first time and i dont have any experience about riding a fast car. I was so worried and even tell him not to join.He really wants me try it even once. So i go on but for my favor my other half decided not to take any note from me. He just want me to ride with him on his rallye car and experience it.

Photo of me in our salon with my rallye outfit:) lol

Really like this one too:)
Our rallye photo :) with my other half S. Fobelets as pilot and M. Angeles (me) the co-pilot !!! Thanks to the rallye photographer for this one:)

Well, at the end of the day  i realized that this sport is really fun. I am so happy that we win in our category/class and i recieved my first ever trophy :)

Really happy when i recieved this trophy!!! Treasuring it now :)) LOL

My first Scuba Diving

When i arrived in Belgium, since its spring i started my diving lesson at the swimming pool of his parents with Hugo Fobelets (his nephew) and my husband is the one who instructs us. He is licensed scuba diver so we dont have any problem dealing on how to get started. We both enjoyed underwater and how to use the diving equipments. First, it was difficult for me especially breathing underwater using those equipments and swimming with it seems uncomfortable for me. We do diving lesson mostly once a week and by that i learn how to comfort myself with those diving equipments with me.
Here are some our scuba diving lesson photos :

My photos with Hugo Fobelets:) such a very cool kid:) Love him much !!
